One of our most frequently asked questions is whether or not someone can still wear our Come Closer Skin Perfecting Serum-Foundation if they’re not Asian.

Short answer: a resounding yes. (Of course you can.)

For far too long, Asian beauty lovers have learned to accept that they’d always have to settle for a foundation that was never quite right—either too pink, too blue-based, or shockingly yellow in undertone. It was imperative, then, for us to create products specifically for Asian women and men who’ve been long overlooked by the cosmetics industry. By taking the time to understand the needs of Asian skin (which most brands have failed to research, much less care enough to identify), we’re able to help an underrepresented community feel seen, heard, and confident in their identity.

Naturally, one of the main things we were determined to get right was the shade: each was custom-developed to finally provide that true match. This golden undertone is perfect for Asian complexions, but it’s undeniably flattering on all skin tones. The warmth helps neutralize any redness or flushing all while enlivening the complexion—giving skin a bright, lit-from-within glow.
